Double Cone Blender

This mixer is used for solid-solid and solid-liquid mixing for medium to large production on batch-wise basis. It is cylindrical in middle and conical at both ends that rotates in vertical plane on a horizontal shaft. The shaft is supported by pedestals on both ends.

Application In:
Chemical, Minerals, Fertilizers, cement, Guar Gum / Starch / Cellulose etc.

The mixer is charged manually with material and hydrated with hot water through the water perusing pipe and then the lid is tightly fitted. The mixer is rotated on its horizontal shaft which is driven by a gear box connected to motor. The split inside is well cooked and becomes ready for flaking. After sufficient time of mixing as desired it is unloaded and sent for further processing.

Preventive Measures

1)    Maintain the surrounding area clean.

2)    Put grease in Bearing Housing periodically or when required.

3)    Do not overload the machine.

4)    If any vibration or noise is observed, attend to it and do the needful.
